Points Beats Hollins At Games

Hedu Turkoglu had seven points and Ryan Anderson went 0-for-8 from the field for zero points. Glen Davis provided six points and 11 rebounds against his former team. The Magic entered the game having won six of seven games. Orlando head coach Stan Van Gundy was at a loss for words on his team's poor play.

"I can't explain it. I can't explain why," he said. "They took us out of everything we did. I'm not saying we don't deserve blame, give us a lot of blame, but also make sure you give them a lot of credit.

(Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Miami Heat will finish a five-game homestand by welcoming the Cavaliers and the new face of their franchise, Kyrie Irving, to the shores of Biscayne Bay. Cleveland, of course, was the NBA home of superstar LeBron James for the first seven years of his career before the All-Star "took his talents to South Beach" before last season. James was a two-time NBA MVP with the Cavs, a former scoring champion and led the team to the 2007 NBA Finals before the Cavs succumbed to the San Antonio Spurs.

James also led Miami to the NBA Finals last season but the Heat lost in six games to the Dallas Mavericks.

James ended with 28 points, 13 rebounds and five assists for the Heat, who have lost four of seven overall. Chris Bosh donated 23 points and six boards.

"Give them credit, they came in here and got a tough win," Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra said. "They did a great job of moving the ball and finding open gaps and cutting into open areas behind our defense."

The Heat, who are 6-2 at home this season, will make a quick stop in Detroit on Wednesday before returning to South Beach for three more games.

Irving scored 18 points in that one to pace the Cavaliers, who were coming off another rout to Chicago a day earlier.

"I thought this week coming up was going to test us," Cavs coach Byron Scott said. "We'll see how these guys can handle it after the last two nights. Sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom to learn, but I don't think we're anywhere near rock bottom yet. Last year we lost 26 in a row, so hopefully we won't see that streak start again."

The Heat and Cavaliers are meeting for the first of three matchups this season. In 2010-11, Miami took three of four from the Cavs.

MySportsbook.com favors Bears, Bengals, Chargers and Colts to remain perfect

LAS VEGAS , Sept. 28 - Two big match-ups of undefeated teams have fans salivating at the Week Four schedule in the NFL. The Chicago Bears stifling defense looks to provide a less than hospitable welcome to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night in a battle of two 3-0 teams in the NFC conference. In the AFC, the San Diego Chargers (2-0) head to Maryland to face the surprising Baltimore Ravens (3-0) as both try to keep pace atop the conference standings. Betting Lines makers at MySportsbook.com, online sportsbook and casino, have set the Bears as 3.5 point favorites while the Chargers are a 2.5 point bet.

Of the three remaining undefeated teams, only one, New Orleans, enters this week's game as an underdog. Despite an emotional and resounding win over Atlanta on Monday night, the Saints are a 7.5 point underdog against the struggling Carolina Panthers. Indianapolis looks to stay perfect when they face the New York Jets as a 9 point road favorite while the Cincinnati Bengals are a 6 point favorite at home to the New England Patriots.

Six teams enter the week still looking for their first win, with a seventh, Tampa Bay, on a bye week. The prospect of dropping another game would not bode well for a potential playoff run. Since 1990, just three teams -- the 1992 Chargers, 1995 Detroit Lions and 1998 Buffalo Bills -- have overcome losing their first three games of the season to earn a postseason berth. And only the Chargers managed to accomplish the feat after starting 0-4.
